Clean the drain pump filter yourself
- Turn the washer off and lay towels down. A shallow pan helps.
- Open the small access panel at the bottom front of the washer.
- Drain the water through the small hose if your model has one, then unscrew the filter slowly.
- Remove lint, coins, hair ties and anything else, rinse it, and screw it back tight.
Do this every couple of months. If the washer still will not drain with a clean filter, the pump or the control needs a technician.
