Where the water goes
Dishwasher water passes the filter, goes through the drain pump, up a loop in the drain hose under the counter, then into the disposal or the sink drain. A problem anywhere on that path leaves water in the tub. Worth checking yourself:
- Clean the filter in the bottom of the tub.
- Run the disposal for a few seconds to clear its inlet.
- Look under the sink for a kinked or flattened drain hose.
